Evan Curry, Lead Pastor

Evan is the Lead Pastor of Liberti Northeast Church. He grew up in the Northeast, still lives here with his wife, Amanda, and their four kids, and will tell you the Northeast has the best people in Philly. He'll tell you twice if you let him.

He's been in ministry for 15+ years, working with students, leading worship, teaching adults, and planting churches. He studied at Cairn University and Missio Seminary. Today he leads Liberti Northeast and directs church planting and strengthening, along with the Internship & Residency program, for the Liberti Communion.

What Evan cares about is simple: Trust the Lord. Stay faithful when it's hard. Watch the gospel change you over time.

Outside of church, he coaches middle school girls soccer, drinks too much coffee, watches more TV than he should, and reads less than he should. He roots for the Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, Flyers, and Manchester United, so he's no stranger to heartbreak. His greatest accomplishments are advancing the human race fourfold and winning tickets to the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta
