Jesus welcomed children and so do we! We don’t see them as distractions or second-class citizens because Jesus didn’t see them that way. In many ways, kids are examples of faith and commitment. When you visit our church, here are some options for you and your kids.
Kids in the worship service
We get it. Changing your routine and coming to a new place, especially a new church, takes guts, and it means allowing you and your little one time to warm up to the change. So, with that in mind, when you visit our church, you are welcomed to keep your kids in the service with you. You can do this for your first visit or every visit. It’s not a problem at all. We welcome it!
Safe, Age-Appropriate class for young kids
We have class with background-checked teachers and volunteers for ages 6 months to kindergarten from the start of the service until Communion (soon-after the sermon). Class includes some playtime, singing, and an age-appropriate Bible lesson. We take additional precautions to ensure the safety of our children. And Martha, our LibertiKids Coordinator (pictured here), is awesome! We know we’re biased, but your child will love her!
Right now, since we only offer class for 6 months to kindergarten, we want to make sure the other kids in our midst have something age-appropriate for them. So, we provide kids activity packets for the service. Be sure to pick up yours at the Info Table.
