Missional Opportunities

Jesus calls us to love our neighbors. At Liberti, we have several opportunities available to better love our neighbors. Missional opportunities, or MOs, are the best ways for you to show love to our neighbors in Northeast Philadelphia. We have four amazing MOs available to sign-up for, and invite you prayerfully consider which one is the best fit for you. If you have any questions about any of these opportunities, email northeast@liberti.org.

RECOVERY Men’s Bible Study

Mondays 1-2pm, 2-4 times per month*

You might be interested if: desire to disciple others, care about men coming out of addiction, interest in studying the Bible, or have a flexible lunch break

The opioid crisis has hit an all-time high in Philadelphia. Alcohol and drug abuse have become addictions that destroy the lives of many. The best way for us to love those coming out of alcohol and drug abuse is by sharing the gospel with them. The Recovery Men’s Bible Study meets once-a-week on Mondays and is looking for men who’d be willing to volunteer their lunch hours to put God’s Word in front of men in recovery at a local recovery center. Those involved would attend and eventually lead the Bible study after some training. Led by Jay Scharfenberg.
